Hands-on Senior Full-Stack Engineer role based in Doha, Qatar.
Own production systems across architecture, development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.

Required experience and skills
- At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience.
- At least 6 years of hands-on Go backend development.
- Strong experience with scalable, reliable, production-grade backend systems.
- Strong Next.js, React, and TypeScript experience.
- Strong Redis experience and production Docker experience.
- Strong cloud experience across GCP and/or AWS.
- Experience designing secure, scalable APIs and distributed systems.
- Experience taking systems from development through deployment and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of testing, observability, performance, security, and production operations.
- Fluent Arabic communication skills are required; strong English communication skills are expected.
Location and working arrangement
- The position is full-time and hybrid in Doha, Qatar.
- Remote work is available as part of the hybrid arrangement.
- Candidates must be able to attend the Doha office when required.
- Candidates must have the legal right to work in Qatar.
Valued experience
Experience with AI-powered software, SaaS platforms, distributed systems, real-time applications, or other high-scale production environments is highly valued.
The employer values engineers who have built and operated real production systems rather than only academic or small-scale projects.

Responsibilities
- Own production systems across architecture, development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
- Build and operate scalable, reliable backend systems and secure APIs.
- Develop full-stack functionality using Go, Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
- Deploy and maintain systems using Docker and cloud infrastructure across GCP and/or AWS.
- Design and support distributed systems and production operations.
- Apply testing, observability, performance, and security practices to production systems.
- Contribute to architecture and engineering direction in a collaborative environment.
