Position Overview

Autodesk is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer with strong backend expertise in Node.js and TypeScript and frontend experience in React.

The engineer will design, build, scale, and support customer-facing applications in a cloud-native AWS environment.

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot complex customer-facing and production issues across frontend and backend systems.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
Develop responsive frontend applications using React.
Design DynamoDB data models and access patterns.
Build cloud-native, event-driven applications and asynchronous workflows using AWS services.
Define application architecture and participate in technical design and code reviews.
Ensure software meets performance, security, reliability, and quality standards.
Write automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
Monitor production applications using logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, and alerts.
Support CI/CD pipelines and improve build, testing, and deployment processes.
Collaborate with product, design, quality, and globally distributed engineering teams.
Own features through the complete software development lifecycle and production support.

Minimum Qualifications

At least 6 years of strong programming experience in full-stack development and cloud technologies.
At least 6-8 years of relevant hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
Understanding of software design patterns and architectural principles.
Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience designing DynamoDB tables, keys, indexes, and access patterns.
Experience with AWS services including ECS, Lambda, S3, SQS, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.
Experience building scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-native applications.
Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
Experience with CI/CD, Docker, Jenkins, and Git-based development workflows.
Understanding of monitoring, debugging, production support, communication, and collaboration practices.

Working Environment

The role operates in an Agile environment following Scrum methodologies.
