Senior Full Stack Engineer (Backend)

Role Overview

Automation and Infrastructure

• Develop Ansible playbooks and roles for configuration management, application deployment, and Linux automation.
• Develop custom Ansible modules and Python plugins for specialized automation.
• Automate server management and operational tasks with Python and Bash.
• Design infrastructure architecture with networking, scalability, high availability, and security considerations.

Delivery and Kubernetes

• Build and maintain Jenkins and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines for microservice deployments.
• Manage EKS clusters, including provisioning, upgrades, node groups, RBAC, Helm, ingress, autoscaling, and workload optimization.
• Use ArgoCD and Argo Workflows to streamline Kubernetes deployments with GitOps practices.
• Maintain Terraform infrastructure as code for AWS and other cloud providers.

Operations and Security

• Implement centralized logging, metrics collection, monitoring, and alerting systems.
• Debug production issues and participate in root cause analysis and operational reviews.
• Remediate vulnerabilities, manage secrets and certificates, and implement SSL/TLS and mTLS practices.
• Manage MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, and Redis services.
• Perform Linux server upgrades, patching, and image builds.

Required Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a DevOps focus is required.
• At least 1 year of hands-on web development experience is required.
• Strong DevOps, software delivery, security, networking, cloud, Kubernetes, and database knowledge is required.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, Ansible, Linux administration, AWS, and database management is required.
