Intro

  • Hey, I’m Ichwan, Engineering Manager at MedMe Health. I lead the Gravity pod within our engineering department.
  • The Gravity pod owns critical integration workstreams connecting pharmacies and healthcare providers.

The Role

  • Drive the Automation Product to Production: move automation workflows from experimental to production level state.
  • Architect for Reliability & Scale: build robust, non flaky desktop automation solutions scalable to thousands of pharmacies.
  • Own the US Expansion Blueprint: design infrastructure changes for US region, focusing on data residency, login processes, and model deployments.
  • Implement High Bar Security & Compliance: ensure HIPAA compliance and address MITM vulnerabilities and reverse engineering.
  • Lead Product Architecture: own end to end lifecycle of desktop automation tools from installer distributions to core architecture.
  • Drive AI/ML Research: experiment with, fine tune, and train AI/ML models to maximize automation accuracy.
  • Collaborate and Communicate: act as core technical voice, run client facing meetings, raise concerns in company forums.
  • Mentor and Support: act as technical anchor, mentor intermediate and intern engineers.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with heavy focus on desktop automation.
  • Expert level proficiency in Python and Node.js.
  • Strong hands on experience with AWS and SQL.
  • Exceptional communication skills, comfortable in front of clients and raising engineering concerns.
  • AI fluency: understand how to leverage, fine tune, or train AI/ML models.
  • Nice to have: experience in building secure installer distributions, healthcare tech, HIPAA compliance.

Compensation Range

  • CAD 115,000 CAD 176,000 (Dependent on depth of experience)
