Job Overview

Review and evaluate Fire Alarm, Voice Evacuation, and Emergency Lighting system designs across assigned projects, ensuring compliance with SBC, NFPA, and project requirements.

Support project delivery by identifying design gaps, verifying system performance, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate and code-compliant integration of life safety systems.

General Responsibilities

  • Perform duties professionally and proactively in line with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Coordinate effectively with the Client, consultants, contractors, and project team.
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports, technical documentation, and deliverables.
  • Participate and lead meetings, workshops, and project reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
  • Monitor work progress, identify issues, and propose solutions.
  • Maintain organized project records, documentation, and correspondence.

Technical Responsibilities

  • Review drawings, specifications, reports, calculations, and related documents to ensure compliance with applicable local and international regulations.
  • Evaluate systems and components to ensure proper compatibility and coordination for smooth integration.
  • Have knowledge of related systems such as BMS, disabled toilet alarm, and emergency radio communication during design and construction stages.
  • Maintain clear understanding of project scope and requirements related to compliance review and construction support activities.
  • Review submissions in coordination with the direct manager and highlight discrepancies, missing details, or non-workable design aspects in a timely manner.
  • Support assigned projects through design/IFC reviews, material submittals, inspections, and review of shop drawings and as-built documents.
  • Report any gaps, errors, or non-compliances in design or construction documents to the direct manager.
  • Prepare and maintain compliance reports, trackers, and checklists related to ELV and life safety systems.
  • Participate in technical discussions, coordination meetings, and design review sessions to address.

Qualifications

  • Good understanding of Saudi Building Codes, NFPA 72, NEC, NFPA 101, NFPA 110, Civil Defense requirements, and other relevant standards related to Fire Alarm, Voice Evacuation, Two-Way Communication, and Emergency & Exit Lighting systems.
  • Ability to review drawings, specifications, reports, calculations, and related documents to ensure compliance with applicable local and international regulations.
  • Knowledge of related systems such as BMS, disabled toilet alarm, and emergency radio communication during design and construction stages.
