Role Overview
Moody’s is seeking a Senior Financial Data Analyst for work supporting credit analysis and ratings research.
The role contributes data, analytical, and research services within the RRS Global Capability Centers.
The position includes independent deliverable management and guidance for junior team members.
Skills and Competencies
- Candidates should have 0–2 years of experience in credit or financial data analysis and interpretation.
- Knowledge of capital markets is required, while structured finance experience is advantageous.
- The role requires identifying credit risk factors and applying relevant credit methodologies.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and broader Microsoft Office skills are required.
- Excellent English communication, interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and organization are required.
- Basic understanding of generative AI and agentic AI systems is expected, with interest in responsible AI practices.
- Python, Power BI, and Alteryx experience is advantageous.
- Experience handling large datasets and ensuring data integrity is expected.
Education and Certifications
- A master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, or qualification as a CA, is required.
