Position Overview
Serve as a bridge between corporate finance and international operational teams.
Lead a small finance team and partner with R&D, PLM, Sales, and Manufacturing Operations across Canada, Germany, and the USA.
Spearhead implementation of a cloud FP&A tool and migration from QuickBooks Online to an enterprise ERP.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage global budgets and rolling forecasts across multinational teams.
- Deliver variance analysis and financial insight to department heads.
- Design and execute project accounting for R&D and operations initiatives, including SR&ED and grant reporting.
- Support manufacturing with standard costing, inventory valuation, and product-line margin analysis.
- Lead cloud FP&A tool selection and implementation and scope the QBO-to-ERP migration.
- Manage month-, quarter-, and year-end reporting, external audits, government and SR&ED audits, and compliant internal controls.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a small finance team and present updates to senior leadership and the CFO.
Key Qualifications
- 12+ years of progressive finance experience with hands-on ownership of financial analysis, reporting, and consolidation.
