- Drive continuous improvement throughout the organization
- Review project and estimate cash flows, contract terms, and change orders for financial risks and opportunities
- Responsible for client billing and revenue collection
Requirements
- 5+ years of financial/data analysis or public accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
- 3+ years of proven experience in the Construction Industry preferred
- Proven track record of successfully developing or managing a team
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Suite

Position Overview
- As a Sr. Finance Analyst, you will lead a team of finance professionals supporting multiple projects in accounting and finance functions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to operations managers and executive management.

District Overview
- Kiewit Energy Canada is headquartered in Calgary, Alberta.
- Major industrial contractor working on oil & gas facilities, including oil sands processing, upgrading & refining, midstream facilities, power & co generation, terminal projects, and major mine developments.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and effectively communicate financial results of projects to upper level management.
- Earn trust and credibility from Operations team.
- Train, develop, and grow a team of finance professionals.
- Develop and maintain budget and cost reports, earned value analyses, and project profit projections.
- Assist in tracking project change orders and development of projections.
- Assist project managers with development of project procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement throughout the organization.
- Use data, reports, and tools for risk analysis and benchmarking.
- Review project and estimate cash flows, contract terms, and change orders for financial risks and opportunities.
- Bring in high quality talent.
- Responsible for client billing and revenue collection.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of financial/data analysis or public accounting experience.
- 3+ years of proven experience in the Construction Industry preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
- Proven track record of successfully developing or managing a team.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Suite required.
- SAP and PowerBI experience preferred.
- Effective communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
