- Experience with SAP and PowerBI preferred
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written), organization, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities

Position Overview
- As a financial analyst, you'll support various projects in accounting and finance related functions.
- You'll serve as a trusted advisor to operations managers and executive leadership.
- This role requires strong analytical skills, a constant drive for continuous improvement, and well developed technical and interpersonal skills.
District Overview
- The projects in Eastern Canada include highways, bridges, public transit, mining site development and open pit operations, hydroelectric plants, wind farms, dams, and industrial facilities.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and effectively communicate project financial results to management.
- Build trust, credibility, and buy in for the operations team's processes to create better cohesion and clear communication within the organization.
- Develop and maintain budget and cost reports as well as earned value analyses.
- Assist in tracking project change orders and developing projections.
- Support the project team in developing project procedures.

- Effectively use the right data, reports, and tools for risk analysis and benchmarking.

Qualifications
- 5 years + of experience in financial/data analysis or public accounting.

Compensation
- Base Compensation: $85,000/yr $105,000/yr (Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location).
