Role Overview
Qiddiya Digital is seeking a highly experienced, hands-on Senior Expert in Software Engineering for its digital platforms catalog domain.
The role is a senior individual contributor position with strong technical authority and no direct line-management responsibility.
The role provides technical leadership to vendor engineering teams and owns platform quality, resilience, reliability, security, performance, and operational readiness.
Technical Ownership and Delivery
- Take end-to-end technical ownership of the assigned digital domain.
- Define and maintain target architecture, engineering standards, and the technical roadmap.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership across design, implementation, integration, release, and production operations.
- Lead and challenge vendor engineering teams and validate their deliverables against measurable technical evidence.
- Review and approve architecture, APIs, data models, integrations, code quality, and major technical decisions.
Reliability and Operations
- Ensure solutions are resilient, reliable, scalable, secure, observable, maintainable, and cost efficient.
