Serve as a senior individual contributor with strong technical authority across critical digital product domains.

Retain critical platform knowledge and ensure the organization can independently operate and evolve its digital platforms.
Responsibilities
- Own the assigned digital domain end to end and maintain its architecture, standards, and technical roadmap.
- Lead design, implementation, integration, release, and production operations.
- Challenge vendor engineering teams and review architecture, APIs, data models, integrations, code quality, and technical decisions.
- Validate vendor deliverables through acceptance criteria and measurable technical evidence.
- Monitor technical KPIs, service-level objectives, availability, latency, recovery, and performance.
- Implement automated testing, CI/CD, monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting controls.
- Validate rollout, rollback, capacity testing, disaster recovery, and production readiness plans.
- Lead incident management, root-cause analysis, remediation, and management of technical debt and architectural risk.
- Maintain architecture documentation, technical decisions, runbooks, and support procedures.
- Drive knowledge transfer and reusable engineering practices across digital assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience in a lead, staff, principal engineer, technical lead, or senior architecture role.
- Experience designing and operating large-scale distributed, cloud-native, and highly available platforms.
- Experience with customer-facing digital products such as commerce, payments, loyalty, identity, ticketing, or mobile platforms.
Technical Requirements
- Strong hands-on engineering capability and implementation-level technical judgment.
- Strong knowledge of APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture, distributed systems, data consistency, and failure recovery.
- Experience with resilience, observability, performance engineering, security, automated testing, CI/CD, and production operations.
- Experience overseeing vendors, system integrators, or outsourced engineering teams.
- Strong incident management, root-cause analysis, problem management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
