About the Role
Silver Edge Arabia is hiring a Senior Estimator to lead tender accuracy, cost competitiveness, and commercial clarity. The role involves mentoring a team, managing quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and post-tender negotiations.

Responsibilities
- Lead initial comprehensive review of incoming tender documents (drawings, specifications, BOQ, contract conditions).
- Coordinate with Procurement, QA/QC, and PMC for accurate quotes and technical inputs.
- Lead and execute detailed quantity take offs across architectural, structural, civil, and MEP disciplines.
- Develop accurate cost structures and formulate activity based unit rates.
- Prepare, submit, and track technical and commercial RFIs.
- Compile compliant commercial and technical proposals and participate in post tender negotiations.
- Supervise, train, and review the output of junior Estimators.

- Extensive experience in construction estimation
- Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of estimators
- Strong knowledge of quantity take offs and BOQ development
- Experience with tender submissions and post tender negotiations

Role Purpose & Summary
- As a Senior Estimator, you bear ultimate responsibility for tender accuracy, cost competitiveness, technical compliance, and commercial clarity.
- You will lead and mentor a team of estimators.
Detailed Scope of Activities
- Initial Tender Assessment: Lead comprehensive review of tender documents, evaluate complexities, identify risks, establish deadlines.
- Inter Departmental Coordination: Coordinate with Procurement, QA/QC, and PMC.
- Quantity Take Offs & BOQ Development: Lead and verify detailed quantity take offs across disciplines.
- Cost Estimation & Strategy: Develop cost structures, formulate unit rates, compile cost comparison sheets.
- RFI Management & Tender Clarifications: Prepare, submit, and track RFIs.
- Submission & Post Tender Negotiations: Compile proposals, respond to queries, participate in negotiations.
- Team Leadership & Database Management: Supervise, train junior estimators, maintain cost libraries.
