- Lead the development of comprehensive mechanical cost estimates for large scale industrial projects
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and scope of work to identify all mechanical system requirements and potential cost drivers
- Develop detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for mechanical equipment, piping, HVAC, and other related systems
- Source and evaluate quotations from vendors and subcontractors, negotiating favorable terms and pricing
- Perform quantity take offs for mechanical components, materials, and labor with meticulous attention to detail
- Apply cost engineering principles to forecast project expenditures, including direct costs, indirect costs, and contingency
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to refine estimates and identify value engineering opportunities
- Prepare and present detailed estimation reports to senior management and clients

- 10 15 years of experience in mechanical estimation
