Qualifications
- Main Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Environmental Science/Engineering, Environmental Law/Policy, Natural Sciences or related field of study and five (5) years of experience as a Senior Environmental Permitting Specialist and Project Manager, Environmental Specialist, or related role where required experience gained.
- Special Skills: Also requires experience in the following:
- Four (4) years of environmental or permitting experience in North America;
- Environmental assessment regulatory frameworks as applied to renewable energy (wind, solar, or battery storage);
- Engaging with the federal and state regulatory agencies such as the BLM or USFWS, local communities, and Tribes or First Nations; and
- Project management, agency consultation, environmental analysis, and business development, including experience building and maintaining relationships with a client base.
