- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Management
- Professional degree in MMUP Engineer Registration (UPDA) or NEBOSH
- Minimum 8 year(s) working experience, 5 year(s) relevant working experience
- 2 year (s) GCC is a plus
- ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills
- Comprehensive understanding of environmental regulations, policies, and standards
- Proficiency in environmental assessment techniques
- Strong analytical skills
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Job Summary
- The Senior Environmental Engineer is responsible in the processes that seek to control environmental entities in orientation to a plan or idea.
- This position is responsible for overseeing the environmental performance of the organization and for developing, implementing and monitoring environmental strategies that promote sustainable development.
Job Responsibilities 1
- Develop and implement environmental management plans and strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and feasibility studies for proposed projects to evaluate potential risks and impacts.
- Monitor air, water, and soil quality, and oversee pollution control measures to mitigate environmental impacts.
- Design and implement remediation and restoration projects for contaminated sites, ensuring proper cleanup and rehabilitation.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, contractors, and stakeholders on environmental matters.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies, community groups, and other stakeholders to address environmental concerns and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Conduct environmental audits and inspections to assess compliance with environmental regulations and Company policies.
- Develop and deliver environmental training programs for employees to raise awareness and promote environmental stewardship.
- Stay updated on emerging environmental trends, regulations, and technologies to recommend innovative solutions and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to integrate environmental considerations into project planning, design, and operations.
