• The role is based in Asana's Vancouver office with an office-centric hybrid schedule.
• Standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday; Wednesday work from home is generally available, while Friday flexibility depends on the work and team.

What you will achieve

• Lead and grow engineers across backend systems, platform services, and customer-facing experiences.
• Set technical direction and shape the licensing and billing roadmap.
• Partner with Product, Design, Data, Finance, Sales, and engineering teams to ship solutions.
• Drive licensing, access control, usage tracking, billing, admin tools, license assignment, and provisioning projects.
• Balance scalability, reliability, correctness, and delivery speed.
• Hire, coach, and develop engineers while building a high-performing team culture.
• Explain technical decisions clearly to senior stakeholders.
