Role Overview
Lead technical delivery of water supply network planning and hydraulic modelling using InfoWorks WS Pro.
Deliver projects through teams while working with project managers, junior team members, clients, and sector leadership.
Technical Responsibilities
- Carry out hydraulic calculations, analysis, investigations, reports, figures, and supporting documents.
- Build, calibrate, and assess models, including leakage, demand, pressure, infrastructure, and growth analysis.
- Use InfoWorks WS Pro tools to investigate complex operational scenarios.
- Resolve modelling anomalies and communicate hydraulic model risks and limitations.
- Verify GIS, SCADA, field data, growth projections, and other modelling inputs and outputs.
Leadership and Delivery
- Work without supervision, direct others, and ensure work is verified by an appropriate professional.
- Coach and mentor hydraulic modelling professionals and provide timely constructive feedback.
- Lead digital improvement and innovation in hydraulic modelling, processes, and data management.
- Complete technical reviews, verification, approvals, timeframes, budgeted hours, and project risk management.
