Senior Engineer - Software

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join on a six month contract. You will be part of a high-performing team delivering and maintaining critical energy trading and risk-management systems. As AI reshapes how energy markets operate, this team is at the forefront—embedding intelligent capabilities into the platforms that support Australia’s energy future.

This is a senior, hands-on engineering role. You’ll work alongside developers, testers, business analysts and a Delivery Manager across multiple squads, contributing your technical expertise to build reliable, scalable and intuitive solutions.

Demonstrated experience as a Senior Software Engineer with strong, production-level Angular expertise.

Proficiency in C# and .NET, with a sound understanding of full-stack development and API integration.

Experience with AWS or Azure, including serverless technologies and modern deployment patterns.

Strong SQL capability and experience working with Microsoft SQL Server.

Practical experience with LLM integration, AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude, or intelligent front-end features would be highly regarded.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical teams and engage confidently with business stakeholders.
