Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and logs from various security systems to identify suspicious activities
- Investigate and remediate security alerts and security incidents
- Correlate and analyze security data to identify patterns, anomalies, and potential threats
- Maintain and configure security tools and platforms including SIEM, NDR, Email Security, and EDR solutions
- Implement new security tools and technologies to enhance cybersecurity capabilities
- Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends
- Apply threat intelligence across security solutions to improve detection and incident response
- Develop and prepare monthly security reports
- Prepare detailed security incident reports for management and stakeholders
- Maintain accurate documentation of security incidents, investigations, and remediation activities
- Collaborate with security team members and IT personnel to share information and best practices
- Provide guidance and mentorship to Junior Security Analysts (L1) as required
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Security Analyst role with focus on security monitoring and incident response
- Hands on experience with SIEM, EDR, NDR, and Email Security solutions
- Strong knowledge of security incident detection, analysis, investigation, and response
- Good understanding of network protocols, operating systems, cybersecurity threats, and vulnerabilities
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field
- Professional cybersecurity certifications (e.g., SANS) are an advantage

Qualifications
