Role Overview
CPP is hiring a Senior Primary Engineer to deliver high-voltage substation projects.
The role supports renewable energy and utility infrastructure projects across Australia.
The position is based in the Doncaster office with flexible work-from-home options.
The role is full-time and permanent.
About CPP
CPP provides design, construction, commissioning, and maintenance services for high-voltage infrastructure.
Its projects include substations, transmission lines, wind farms, and battery storage systems.
The design and engineering team covers electrical, civil, structural, and SCADA disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Deliver primary electrical designs from concept through construction support.
- Produce detailed engineering studies in at least one relevant high-voltage study area.
- Perform load flow, short-circuit, arc-flash, and protection coordination studies.
- Develop earthing, EMF, and LFI designs.
- Complete insulation coordination studies and high-voltage cable sizing.
- Perform conductor and busbar sizing and assess short-circuit forces.
