Role overview
Deliver product engineering across inception, deployment, and production support.
Work across technical specialisations such as software, data, security, and support and reliability.
Develop deeper knowledge of one or more financial-services domains such as trading, portfolio, or advice.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver secure, robust software using automated testing and continuous delivery.
- Contribute to architecture, feature requirements, and solution analysis.
- Mentor junior engineers and improve engineering standards across the team.
- Provide proactive support and troubleshooting to maintain application reliability.
- Automate manual processes and use platform tools to improve efficiency and scalability.
Technical requirements
- Backend engineering experience with Node.js, asynchronous programming, and modern backend frameworks.
- Experience designing and maintaining scalable APIs, including RESTful, GraphQL, socket-based, or microservices integrations.
- Understanding of modern frontend frameworks for collaboration and end-to-end troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of application and system architecture, clean code, and SOLID principles.
