Role Overview
This role sits within the Fixed networks team.
The team provides turnkey surveying, design, construction, and commissioning of new networks while supporting existing network repair, maintenance, and operation.
The role provides specialist technical support to service delivery teams and acts as an expert for complex fibre-network problems.
What You Will Do
- Lead investigations into fibre-network faults and resolve issues requiring specialist knowledge.
- Perform performance checks and validate failed jobs against quality standards.
- Investigate serious customer complaints with team and regional managers.
- Support engineers who need help, particularly with OTDS and ELF performance scores.
- Carry out deep-dive investigations into major faults and write clear root-cause reports.
- Build guides and tools to help engineers solve future problems faster.
