Role Overview
Join Buro Happold's Mumbai team as a Senior Engineer – ELV, ICT & Security.
The role focuses on complex built-environment security, ICT, telecommunications, and ELV design with risk mitigation and technical troubleshooting.
Design and Engineering
- Design and engineer Building Management Systems controlling and monitoring ventilation, air conditioning, power, fire, and access control equipment.
- Design ICT and telecommunications systems including networks, backbone cabling, structured cabling, IP telephony, and wireless data networks.
- Develop telecom, security, and ELV network architectures, including network switch and router selection.
- Prepare design basis reports, network architectures, input/output schedules, and control logic diagrams.
- Design cable containments and conduits connecting project areas.
Systems Covered
- Integrated solutions include Building Management Systems, fire alarm systems, video surveillance and analytics, access control, public address and IP audio, command and control centres, and network infrastructure.
Coordination and Documentation
- Work with OEMs and vendors to finalize system configurations.
