The Opportunity

Platform Engineering & Service Delivery

• Design, implement, and maintain Kubernetes as a Service and Managed Data Platform solutions
• Build and support managed services for relational and non-relational databases, messaging, caching, backup, restore, and lifecycle management
• Ensure scalability, resiliency, and operational maturity of platform services

Kubernetes & Cloud Platform Engineering

• Work hands-on with Kubernetes, OpenShift, OpenStack, operators, controllers, APIs, and automation frameworks
• Review, troubleshoot, and optimize Kubernetes operators, controllers, and platform automation components
• Support multi-tenant, customer-facing cloud platform environments

Reliability, Monitoring & Operations

• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, observability, and operational readiness frameworks
• Define and maintain disaster recovery, backup, restore, failover, and maintenance procedures
• Support incident analysis, root cause investigations, and performance optimization initiatives

Infrastructure Integration & Security

• Ensure integration with infrastructure services including networking, IAM, PKI, storage, DNS, and load balancing
• Implement security controls including RBAC, secrets management, encryption, audit logging, and hardening standards
• Support secure and compliant cloud platform operations

Automation & Continuous Improvement

• Drive Infrastructure as Code and GitOps-based automation initiatives
• Improve operational efficiency through automation, tooling, and platform standardization
• Contribute to continuous improvement and platform evolution initiatives

Required

• Strong experience in
• platform engineering, cloud engineering, DevOps/SRE, or PaaS engineering
• environments
• Hands-on expertise with

Kubernetes, OpenShift, and OpenStack

• Experience with managed database and messaging technologies including
• PostgreSQL, MySQL, Kafka, Redis, MongoDB, or similar
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes operators, controllers, CRDs, and automation patterns
• Experience implementing high availability, disaster recovery, observability, backup, and restore solutions
• Strong Linux, networking, virtualization, storage, IAM, and security knowledge
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills

Preferred

• Experience with database operators such as
• Crunchy Postgres Operator, Percona, MongoDB Operator, or Redis Operator
• Experience with observability platforms including

Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, OpenTelemetry, ELK And OpenSearch

• Experience with
• Terraform, Ansible, Argo CD, Flux, Crossplane, Cluster API, or GitOps frameworks
• Familiarity with software-defined storage and cloud storage technologies such as
• Cinder, Manila, or S3-compatible storage
• Experience supporting secure, large-scale, multi-tenant cloud environments
