Senior Engineer Controls Development

The Controls Development Engineer will be responsible for electrical and electronics engineering activities for screw chiller machines and thermal products.

The role involves close coordination with cross‑functional teams to ensure reliable, efficient, and compliant machine operation, including control systems integration and basic software interaction.

• Design and develop electrical systems for HVAC machines, including screw chillers and thermal products.
• Prepare and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, GA drawings, and BOMs.
• Select and integrate electrical components such as MCCBs, contactors, relays, VFDs, sensors, heaters, and protection devices.
• Support control panel design, power distribution, earthing, and safety interlocks for chiller systems.
• Support in PLC and HMI programming activities , including basic logic modifications, I/O mapping, tag management, and parameter settings.
• Coordinate BMS integration (e.g., BACnet/Modbus) and support testing, signal mapping, and system validation.
• Participate in dry testing, DVT, and performance testing of machines in lab and factory environments.
• Troubleshoot electrical and control-related issues during development, production, and site commissioning.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Controls, Software, QA, Sourcing, and Service teams for system integration and issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with applicable electrical standards, safety guidelines, and company processes.
