Role Overview
The Lead Design Engineering role owns detailed engineering and design execution for complex Infrastructure Solutions projects.
The role translates approved solution architectures and customer requirements into detailed, executable, manufacturable, installable, and serviceable engineering solutions.
Engineering Leadership and Design Ownership
- Lead technical coordination and engineering execution from solution handover through engineering release.
- Provide technical leadership across mechanical, electrical, structural, and controls engineering.
- Lead design reviews, identify technical risks and integration issues, and drive resolution.
- Ensure engineering deliverables are consistent, complete, technically sound, and aligned with project requirements.
Detailed Engineering Deliverables
- Coordinate general arrangements, equipment and site layouts, mechanical and thermal infrastructure designs, electrical systems, and power distribution concepts.
- Coordinate single-line diagrams, interface drawings, structural and support requirements, cable routing, equipment sizing, bills of materials, specifications, calculations, and installation requirements.
- Ensure outputs reflect customer requirements, approved solution architecture, standards, manufacturing capabilities, site constraints, maintainability, schedule, and commercial requirements.
