We are seeking a qualified Senior Engineer in Arlington, VA .
This position is not eligible for hybrid or remote work situations.
This is a 100% on-site, in-office position.
The selectee will perform as the Decision Technologies Senior Engineer for a US Navy Weapons Engineering and Program Acquisition Support contract.
You Must Have An Active Dod Secret Clearance And Top Secret Preferred
· Provide systems engineering support for design, development, production, and in-service activities including system analysis, combat system integration, modeling and simulation, and participation in requirements development and maintenance
· Provide technical inputs in Safety and Electromagnetic Environment Effects (E3) areas including reviewing and analyzing plans, schedules, tests, test results, and data packages
· Assist in managing digital efforts such as DevSecOps and Agile development-related activities
· Prepare technical documentation, senior-level briefings, and other reporting requirements
· Participate in program and technical review meetings related to combat and weapon system integration, cybersecurity, and weapon system effectiveness
· Master’s Degree in a science, engineering, technology, or math discipline
· 15 years’ total experience with engineering US Navy platforms or weapon systems
· Degree area is in Physics, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering or other technical area directly relevant to radar engineering, electromagnetic effects and interference, communication engineering, or electromagnetic passive sensing

· Direct experience with engineering support for specific Navy terminal defense systems such as RAM and CIWS.
· Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), digital engineering principles, and MBSE tools/frameworks (e.g., Cameo, DoDAF, etc.)
· Prior SIPR account and experience using SIPR systems
· Ability to work effectively with team members and subcontractors from various technical, acquisition, and administrative disciplines
· Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
· Ability to develop and deliver coherent and concise customer presentations
· Limited travel requirements (<10%)

150000.00 - 180000.00 USD per year (HQ)
