Role Overview
The Senior Endpoint Engineer provides advanced engineering, management, and support for a global fleet of end-user devices.
The role works with endpoint management platforms, SaaS products, Security, and Information Technology teams to deliver a secure and optimized end-user experience.
The position may rarely require travel to international offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, secure, and ensure the availability of endpoint management platforms.
- Provide advanced technical support and resolve complex end-user device and operating system issues.
- Install, configure, upgrade, tune, and troubleshoot Windows and Mac hardware, software, operating systems, and lifecycle workflows.
- Maintain endpoint access control, compliance, data integrity, patching, encryption, configuration policies, and security posture.
- Monitor endpoint performance, health, and utilization metrics to improve the end-user experience.
- Automate zero-touch device provisioning, software deployments, and repetitive tasks using PowerShell, Bash, Python, and configuration management systems.
- Improve endpoint deployment, application packaging, and lifecycle management processes.
- Document endpoint architecture, configurations, and integrations with identity and security systems.
- Determine root causes of endpoint outages and deployment failures and document remediation recommendations.
