Role overview

Electrical responsibilities

• Lead technical reviews of LV/MV distribution, UPS, STS, PDUs, generators, ATS schemes, switchgear, grounding, and critical power infrastructure.
• Validate N, N+1, 2N, and 2N+1 resilience strategies for mission-critical, banking, and trading environments.
• Review coordination studies, fault-level calculations, load flow, arc-flash mitigation, and power-quality assessments.
• Lead commissioning verification, integrated systems testing, generator testing, FAT/SAT witnessing, and emergency power sequence validation.
• Oversee electrical infrastructure for trading floors and high-density office fit-outs, including clean power and resilient distribution.
• Coordinate electrical and ELV infrastructure with IT, network, and security teams.
• Review BMS and EPMS integration for monitoring, alarming, energy management, and operational reporting.
• Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, NFPA 70, NFPA 72, Indian regulations, and CEA guidelines.
• Lead vendor reviews, factory testing, commissioning activities, and final operational handover.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• 10 or more years of progressive experience in electrical design review, commissioning, and mission-critical infrastructure.
• Experience with data centres, banking or trading environments, critical ICT facilities, or large commercial developments.
• Strong knowledge of distribution systems, UPS, batteries, generators, ATS/STS, grounding, power quality, resilience, and EPMS/BMS integration.
• Experience reviewing short-circuit, protection coordination, load-flow, and arc-flash studies.
• Familiarity with ETAP, SKM, or equivalent software is strongly preferred.

Work arrangement

• The role is full time and remote in India, with intermittent project and business-related travel expected.
