About the Role
HanmiGlobal is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to provide program-level electrical engineering expertise and technical governance for a mega infrastructure development program in Riyadh.

Responsibilities
- Review and assess electrical engineering reports, design calculations, load studies, specifications, drawings, power demand analyses, and technical submissions to ensure compliance with approved standards, utility requirements, Client's requirements, and project objectives
- Evaluate electrical engineering solutions for safety, reliability, resilience, operability, maintainability, energy efficiency, sustainability, and lifecycle performance
- Review power distribution systems, medium and low voltage networks, substations, electrical utility corridors, street lighting systems, and associated electrical infrastructure
- Assess electrical load forecasts, network capacities, utility interface requirements, and power supply strategies while ensuring effective integration with transportation, telecommunications, utilities, facilities, and other infrastructure systems
- Coordinate with utility providers and regulatory authorities to support approvals, technical compliance, and infrastructure integration
- Support engineering governance by reviewing technical compliance, engineering deviations, design modifications, and Value Engineering proposals
- Assess the impact of design changes on safety, reliability, operational efficiency, sustainability, cost, schedule, maintainability, and lifecycle performance
- Provide technical recommendations to support informed engineering decisions and effective risk mitigation throughout the program lifecycle
- Coordinate with Lead Developers, consultants, contractors, utility providers, government authorities, and regulatory agencies on electrical engineering matters, approvals, and technical compliance
- Prepare technical assessments, engineering review comments, executive summaries, and recommendations for the Technical Manager, PMCM Management, and the Client
- Participate in multidisciplinary design reviews, technical workshops, coordination meetings, and stakeholder engagement sessions while promoting engineering excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
- Chartered Professional membership or equivalent professional accreditation
- Minimum fifteen (15) years of professional experience in electrical infrastructure, power distribution systems, utility networks, urban development, infrastructure delivery, or major capital projects
- Experience within PMCM, PMC, consultancy, developer, contractor, utility organizations, or client side organizations, preferably on major infrastructure and land development programs in Saudi Arabia or the GCC

Job Purpose
- HanmiGlobal is seeking a highly qualified Senior Electrical Engineer to join our program management and PMCM team in Saudi Arabia.
- You will deliver program level electrical engineering expertise and technical governance for a mega multi work package land and infrastructure development program in Riyadh, delivered on behalf of a major government entity.
- You will be providing program level technical expertise, engineering assurance, and collaborative oversight for reviewing and monitoring all electrical designs across the program.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and assess electrical engineering reports, design calculations, load studies, specifications, drawings, power demand analyses, and technical submissions to ensure compliance with approved standards, utility requirements, Client's requirements, and project objectives.
