About the Role

- Lead and supervise electrical MEP works for high rise building projects from execution to completion
- Review electrical drawings, specifications, and project requirements
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, architects, and other MEP disciplines
- Manage installation activities for LV, power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, ELV, earthing, and lightning protection systems
- Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents
- Ensure electrical works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and authority standards
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of electrical activities
- Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control compliance
- Coordinate with subcontractors and site teams to resolve technical issues
- Review method statements, inspection requests, and testing procedures
- Attend coordination meetings with consultants and project stakeholders
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 8 years of experience in Electrical MEP works
- Proven experience in high rise buildings, residential towers, commercial buildings, or large scale projects in the UAE
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, installation, testing, and commissioning
- Good understanding of UAE electrical codes and authority requirements
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications
- Strong leadership and site management skills
- Excellent communication and coordination skills

Overview
- We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer – MEP to lead and manage electrical works for high rise building projects in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise electrical MEP works for high rise building projects from execution to completion.
- Review electrical drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, architects, and other MEP disciplines.
- Manage installation activities for Low Voltage (LV) systems, Power distribution systems, Lighting and emergency lighting systems, Small power systems, Fire alarm systems, ELV systems (CCTV, Access Control, Data, etc.), Earthing and lightning protection systems.
- Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents.
- Ensure electrical works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and authority standards.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of electrical activities.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control compliance.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and site teams to resolve technical issues.

Qualifications & Experience

- Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Experience working with consultants, main contractors, and MEP subcontractors.
- Good understanding of UAE electrical codes and authority requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong leadership and site management skills.
- Problem solving and decision making abilities.
