About the Role
TASC Outsourcing seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in Generator Systems to design single-line diagrams, wiring schematics, and electrical interfaces for generator sets.

Responsibilities
- Design single line diagrams (SLDs) for Low Voltage (LV) generator sets and synchronizing panels
- Develop detailed wiring schematics, cable schedules, and termination drawings for generator control panels and auxiliary systems
- Design the electrical interface between the diesel engine, alternator, and other plant equipment, such as fuel systems and cooling fans
- Apply knowledge of generator controllers like Deep Sea, ComAp, or Woodward and protection relays for overcurrent, earth fault, and differential protection
- Perform electrical calculations for load studies
- Prepare comprehensive Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical specifications for procurement, including alternators and breakers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Diploma holders with extensive design experience may be considered)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the same field
- Knowledge of international standards like IEC 60034 and IEEE
- Experience level in AutoCAD Electrical and EPLAN
- Proficiency in power system analysis software like ETAP is an added advantage
- Familiarity with major alternator brands like Mecc alte, Leroy Somer, Stamford
- Experience with LV/MV switchgear and Motor Control Centers (MCC)
