About the Role
Swiss MEP Electromechanical Contracting seeks an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design, execution, testing, and commissioning for MEP projects in the UAE.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage electrical engineering activities for MEP projects from design through completion
- Review electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure compliance with project requirements
- Prepare electrical load calculations, single line diagrams, cable schedules, and equipment specifications
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams
- Supervise site execution activities, ensuring adherence to approved drawings, quality standards, and safety regulations
- Monitor project progress and provide technical guidance to site engineers and supervisors
- Review and approve material submittals, shop drawings, method statements, and technical submissions
- Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems
- Ensure compliance with DEWA, SEWA, FEWA, ADDC, Civil Defense, and other relevant authority regulations
- Identify and resolve technical issues during project execution
- Prepare project reports, progress updates, and documentation
- Support procurement activities by evaluating suppliers and technical proposals
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 13 15 years of experience in MEP contracting, with at least 5 years in a senior engineering role
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, ELV, fire alarm, and earthing systems
- Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, and high rise building projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, ETAP, Dialux, and MS Office
- Strong understanding of UAE electrical codes, authority regulations, and international standards
- Excellent project management, leadership, and problem solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- UAE driving license is preferred
