Responsibilities
- Conduct quality inspections for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works at project sites
- Ensure all MEP installations comply with approved shop drawings, project specifications, and local authority regulations
- Prepare and submit Inspection Requests (IRs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), and related quality documentation
- Monitor site activities and identify non conformities, recommending corrective and preventive actions
- Review and verify materials delivered to the site for compliance with approved specifications
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and project teams during inspections
- Maintain quality records, inspection reports, test reports, and handover documentation
- Witness testing and commissioning activities for MEP systems
- Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards, safety requirements, and project procedures
- Assist in preparing method statements, inspection test plans (ITPs), and quality control procedures
- Support project close out activities and preparation of as built documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 5 years of experience as a QC Engineer in MEP construction projects
- Knowledge of ISO quality standards and MEP inspection procedures
- Familiarity with DEWA, SEWA, ADDC, DM and other relevant authority requirements
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in MS Office and quality documentation management

Job Overview
- The QC Engineer (MEP) is responsible for ensuring that all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works are executed in accordance with project specifications, approved drawings, applicable standards, and client requirements.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification in QA/QC practices is an advantage.
- Knowledge of ISO quality standards and MEP inspection procedures.
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a QC Engineer in MEP construction projects.
- Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, installation standards, and testing procedures.
- Familiarity with DEWA, SEWA, ADDC, DM, and other relevant authority requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and quality documentation management.
