Overview

• Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Director - Project Management, Sports BU - Interface to lead and oversee the successful delivery of sports-related projects within the organization.
• This critical leadership role involves managing complex interfaces between various project teams, stakeholders, and business units to ensure seamless execution and integration of sports infrastructure and facilities.
• The Senior Director will be responsible for driving strategic project management initiatives, coordinating cross-functional teams, mitigating risks, and ensuring that all sports projects meet Qiddiya’s quality, cost, and schedule objectives.
• Key Responsibilities* Lead and manage the Project Management function for the Sports Business Unit, focusing on interface management between different project teams and stakeholders.
• Develop and implement project management strategies, policies, and procedures that enhance coordination and integration across projects.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration among all parties to deliver projects on time, within scope, and budget.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to project interfaces and dependencies.
• Monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, vendors, and government entities.
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery through lessons learned, best practices, and adoption of new technologies.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project management teams to build strong capabilities and high performance.
• Report regularly to senior leadership on project status, challenges, and recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field; advanced degree or PMP certification preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of project management experience, with at least 8 years in a senior leadership role managing complex sports, entertainment, or infrastructure projects.
• Proven expertise in managing interface and integration challenges between multiple projects and business units.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects, preferably within the sports or entertainment sectors.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
