Build and run the infrastructure supporting generative AI products, including delivery pipelines, service and model platforms, and security controls.
The work includes GPU capacity, model serving, inference autoscaling, token cost, operational standards, reliability, and security on AWS.
Infrastructure and delivery
- Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code for reproducible, reviewable, and recoverable environments.
- Own CI/CD pipelines that build, test, scan, and deploy applications, agents, and model-serving services.
- Operate EKS, ECS, or Fargate and related deployment workflows, including GitOps where appropriate.
- Manage API gateways, networking, load balancing, DNS, certificates, secrets, identity, and least-privilege access.
AI workload operations
- Provide runtime infrastructure for GPU capacity, model serving such as vLLM, Triton, or TGI, inference autoscaling, gateways, and caching.
- Monitor token usage and GPU utilization while maintaining clear service objectives.
- Run production databases with clustering, replication, failover, backups, and recovery.
Reliability and security
- Lead incident response, policy as code, vulnerability scanning, container scanning, and reliability practices.
- Maintain cost discipline for infrastructure and GPU-based workloads.
Qualifications
- At least 8 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
- Hands-on experience supporting AI or ML workloads in production.
- Strong Terraform or OpenTofu experience, including module design and remote state.
- Experience with Ansible, AWS, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, databases, secrets management, and observability.
- HCP Terraform experience is a plus.
