Ninja Gaming is a fast-scaling startup revolutionizing gaming infrastructure and user experience across MENA.
We're looking for a sharp, hands-on Senior DevOps & Backend Developer who thrives in high-performance environments and enjoys solving real infrastructure and system design challenges at scale.
🔧 Your Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage scalable backend systems (microservices architecture)
Deploy, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
Set up and maintain cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS, etc.)
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation)
System monitoring, logging & alerting (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack, etc.)
Work closely with frontend/game devs to deploy new features & maintain stability
Ensure best practices for security, reliability, and cost-efficiency
🧰 Required Tech Stack & Skills
Programming: Expert in Node.js, PHP, or Python
CI And CD: GitHub Actions, GitLab CI And CD
Cloud Platforms: Strong experience in AWS (EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, IAM, etc.)
Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes (or AWS ECS)
IaC: Terraform or similar
Version Control: Git
Other tools: Nginx, PM2, Load Balancers, CDN configs
Strong experience with scaling, performance tuning, and system security
✅ What We’re Looking For
5+ years of backend or DevOps experience
Prior experience working on high-traffic applications or gaming platforms is a big plus
Strong communication skills and problem-solving attitude
Based in the UAE and able to join within 7 days or less
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
