Kier Construction are a leader in delivering public sector works across our Eastern South region. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team working on a circa £120m defence project in Suffolk. As a Senior Design Manager, you'll provide essential management, subject matter expertise and guidance to drive project success from tender through to delivery, adding real value through our Design and Build capability.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Senior Design Manager, you'll be working within the Construction team, supporting them in delivering exceptional design management across all project stages. Your day to day will include:
Managing and delivering design information in accordance with agreed programmes and schedules
Ensuring appointed design consultants carry out their duties and comply with standards and briefs
Assessing, mitigating and managing design-related risks throughout the project lifecycle
Chairing design meetings, writing reports and delivering presentations to stakeholders
Ensuring design compliance with health and safety legislation, sustainable building standards and industry codes of practice
