Key Responsibilities

  • Lead structural design and engineering activities for the KPMU project.
  • Prepare and review structural designs for water supply and other urban infrastructure structures.
  • Design and review RCC and steel structures, including water tanks, reservoirs, pumping stations, treatment plant structures, buildings, and associated structures.
  • Perform structural analysis and design using relevant design software, IS Codes, and project specifications.
  • Review calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical submissions from consultants and contractors.
  • Coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical, architectural, and other design teams for integrated designs.
  • Review structural drawings and provide technical inputs during design development and construction.
  • Conduct site visits and provide technical solutions for structural issues during construction.
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, safety requirements, and project specifications.

Role Requirements

  • Structural design and engineering experience on infrastructure projects.
  • Experience with RCC and steel structures.
  • Experience with water supply and urban infrastructure structures.
  • Ability to use relevant structural analysis and design software.
  • Knowledge of applicable IS Codes and project specifications.
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple engineering and design disciplines.
  • Ability to review consultant and contractor technical submissions and resolve construction-stage structural issues.
