- Manage and support Oracle database (19c/26ai) environments
- Ensure high availability and reliability using RAC
- Perform database performance monitoring, tuning, and capacity planning
- Manage backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes
- Implement database security best practices including TDE and access controls
- Drive database hardening activities in line with organizational standards
- Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory security frameworks
- Coordinate and execute patching activities across database environments
- Work with enterprise patching tools
- Maintain and document the patch execution tracker
- Collaborate with Vulnerability Management team to analyze and remediate findings from Qualys reports
- Track, prioritize, and close security vulnerabilities within defined timelines

- Manage backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes.
Security, Compliance & Hardening
- Implement database security best practices including TDE and access controls.
- Drive database hardening activities in line with organizational standards.
- Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory security frameworks.
- Review and work with compliance team to finalize and implement baseline security controls for databases.
Patch & Vulnerability Management
- Coordinate and execute patching activities across database environments.
- Work with enterprise patching tools.
- Maintain and document the patch execution tracker.
- Collaborate with the Vulnerability Management team to analyze and remediate findings from Qualys reports.
- Track, prioritize, and close security vulnerabilities within defined timelines.
Collaboration & Coordination
- Work closely with application, infrastructure, and security teams.
- Support change management and release activities.
- Maintain SOPs, documentation, and audit readiness artifacts.
On Call Support
- Actively participate in 24x7 on call rotation, providing support for critical incidents and escalations.
- Ensure timely resolution of production issues and service restoration.
