- Design and implement data governance frameworks and policies
- Manage data quality rules, profiling, monitoring, and remediation
- Perform data lineage analysis using Axon or similar tools
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to resolve data ownership issues
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA)
Requirements
- 8 11 years in data governance, data management, or data quality roles
- Expert level hands on experience with Axon – workflow design, modeling, user management, reporting
- Strong practical experience in data lineage using Axon, Informatica, or similar tools
- Proven track record in data quality – rule definition, profiling, monitoring, and remediation
- Solid understanding of data modeling, SQL, and metadata management concepts
- Experience working with stakeholders across business and IT to resolve ambiguous data ownership
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations like GDPR, CCPA, and data classification frameworks

Preferred Qualifications
- Axon certification or equivalent platform certification
- Experience with metadata ingestion from Snowflake, Databricks, Informatica, dbt, Tableau
- Exposure to data catalog and governance platforms and integration between Axon and other tools
- Background in financial services, healthcare, or regulated industries is a plus
- Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills

- Ability to translate business reporting requirements into governance controls
