Role Overview
The Client Experience Office is seeking an experienced Senior Business Data Engineer for its Data Enablement Team.
The role builds data products that support analytical models for business units across Canada.
The position bridges business-consumer requirements and data-engineering practices.
Responsibilities
- Design models for advisor, client, product, and related business entities.
- Maintain data quality and integrity across enterprise data sources.
- Convert business and technical rules into pipeline and data-flow logic.
- Build data products with data science teams for analytical use cases.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on solution requirements and design.
- Standardize metadata and document data assets for consumers.
- Partner with governance, risk, business, and data-practitioner stakeholders.
Required Experience
- 3-5 years of hands-on cloud and programming experience for data processing and analytics.
- At least 3 years with AWS and Snowflake for ETL, catalog management, quality, and governance.
- At least 3 years of Python, PySpark, and SQL proficiency.
- At least 5 years with relational, dimensional, and analytical data models.
