THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer – Azure to design and scale cloud-native data platforms for enterprise AI adoption. You’ll leverage Microsoft’s data ecosystem to enable RAG pipelines, AI observability, and agent-ready data systems .
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Architect data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Databricks on Azure .
- Manage data lakes with ADLS Gen2 and optimize data warehouse workloads .
- Implement streaming solutions using Event Hubs, Kafka, or Azure Stream Analytics.
- Design governance and lineage frameworks with Purview.
- Collaborate with product teams to deliver AI-ready datasets for Vision AI and AgentOps workflows .
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and compliance with Azure Well-Architected practices .
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- 5–8 years in data engineering with 3+ years in Azure data services .
- Strong experience in Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Databricks .
- Proficiency in PySpark, SQL, Python/Scala .
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Bicep, Terraform) .
- Familiarity with ML/AI data workflows and compliance-driven environments.
- Azure Data Engineer Associate or Architect certification preferred.
- Agentic AI Product Company Architect data systems that power enterprise-grade AI agents .
