About Presight

Data Delivery and Architecture

• Own requirements, sourcing, architecture, modeling, pipeline engineering, quality, and delivery of analytics-ready data.
• Translate business and information needs into roadmaps and technical solutions.
• Define target-state data architecture, infrastructure, source interfaces, and automated data-load tooling.
• Design lake, warehouse, and lakehouse architecture across ingestion, storage, processing, serving, and consumption layers.
• Analyze source systems and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models, including star and snowflake schemas.

Pipelines and Data Quality

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable batch and real-time or streaming data pipelines.
• Build orchestration, scheduling, logging, alerting, retry, and monitoring frameworks.
• Optimize distributed data processing for performance, cost, and scalability.
• Engineer data cleansing, integration, lineage, validation, reconciliation, and observability solutions.
• Apply version control, code review, automated testing, and CI/CD practices to data assets.
• Support modernization and migration of legacy data integration solutions.

Analytics and Stakeholders

• Interpret complex datasets using statistical techniques and identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and root causes.
• Build visualizations, self-service reporting, dashboards, and ongoing reports for stakeholders.
• Work with management, IT, data owners, and diverse teams to prioritize needs and deliver solutions.
• Communicate clearly across multinational teams and travel to customer locations as required by the business.
• Comply with QHSE, business continuity, information security, privacy, risk, compliance, and governance policies.

Experience and Education

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience across data engineering, data architecture, data modeling, and data analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven data analyst experience with strong statistical methods and data visualization skills.
• Demonstrated delivery of enterprise-scale data pipelines and platforms in production.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with the Microsoft Azure data stack, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks or Synapse, ADLS Gen2, and Azure SQL.

Technical Skills

• Advanced querying and manipulation, including complex logic, analytical functions, and performance tuning.
• Programming proficiency in a data engineering or data analysis language.
• Full data-model lifecycle experience, including granularity, facts and dimensions, and star and snowflake schemas.
• ETL/ELT, data integration, workflow orchestration, and data-cleansing automation.
• Distributed processing, big data, data warehousing, and lake or lakehouse architecture.
• Statistics, business intelligence, data visualization, version control, CI/CD, and data quality practices.
