Senior Data & Analytics Engineer, Strategic Finance

You’ll design and maintain the data models that power StratFin reporting, planning, and analysis.

You’ll automate manual, repetitive data and reporting workflows end-to-end.

You’ll build reliable pipelines with testing, monitoring, and clear ownership so the business can trust the numbers.

You’ll partner with Finance and Strategy stakeholders to translate ambiguous questions into scalable data products.

You’ll lay the data foundations that make it safe to layer AI and automation systems on top.

You’ll champion data quality standards and help shape how the team works with data.

You have 4–5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data analysis, or a comparable data-heavy role.

You have strong SQL and data-modelling skills (e.g. dbt, dimensional modelling) and can reason about scalability and trade-offs.

You can build automation and pipelines with Python or similar, and you care about reliability and maintainability.

You thrive in ambiguity and can turn a vague business request into a clear, trustworthy data product.

You can influence and communicate with non-technical Finance and Strategy stakeholders.

You have a bias toward impact and innovation, and can prioritise ruthlessly against business value.

You can work from our Melbourne or Sydney office on a hybrid basis.
