Key skills for this role
At Clutch, we believe advances in AI are fundamentally changing how great products are built. Traditional handoffs between product, design, and engineering are giving way to smaller, faster teams where builders can take ideas from concept to production in days instead of months.
As a Senior Data Analyst, you'll join our data team to help build out the analytics and data infrastructure behind one of our newer business lines. You'll start by strengthening the production dashboards and data onboarding that our stakeholders rely on every day, then move into designing new data models largely from the ground up, helping shape what additional data sources could sharpen our analysis.
This is a role for someone who thrives on ownership: you'll work directly with stakeholders across the business to understand what they need, shape the data models and pipelines that get them there, and communicate your findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences alike. If you're energized by ambiguity, enjoy building something net new, and want to bring modern engineering practices (including AI-powered tooling) into your analytics workflow, you'll thrive at Clutch.
What you’ll do:
Build, maintain, and improve the production dashboards and onboarding data pipelines that our business stakeholders rely on.
Design and build out new data models largely from scratch, helping identify additional data sources that could strengthen our analysis.
Partner with stakeholders across Marketing, Product, Operations, and Finance to translate business questions into clear, trustworthy analysis and reporting.
Build reliable, well-tested, production-ready pipelines using tools like dbt, Airflow, and Snowflake.
Use AI tooling as part of your everyday workflow to accelerate analysis, pipeline development, and iteration.
Communicate findings, models, and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Own your projects end-to-end, from scoping through delivery.
Contribute to data documentation and governance practices as our data infrastructure matures.
What we’re looking for:
Must Haves
5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data analytics, or a closely related field (6–7 years is ideal).
Strong SQL expertise, with comfort working across large or complex datasets.
Hands-on experience with a BI tool, i.e., Tableau or Power BI.
A proven ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
A track record of owning and delivering projects end-to-end, ideally with some project management experience.
