Senior Data Analyst

Role Overview

Core Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and automate reporting and translate business needs into documented reporting and system requirements.
• Extract, integrate, cleanse, transform, and analyze data from multiple systems while maintaining accuracy and integrity.
• Build automated reporting solutions using SSIS and SSRS and create comprehensive datasets for analysis.
• Review analysis outputs, support end-user testing and sign-off, and document reporting procedures and changes.
• Identify data gaps, risks, cross-functional impacts, and mitigation strategies and support issue resolution.
• Provide subject matter expertise, business case support, recommendations, and progress updates to stakeholders and leadership.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Collaborate with business units and IT to develop solutions, resolve issues, assess impacts, and implement process or technology improvements.
• Build cross-functional relationships while handling sensitive information confidentially.
• Communicate findings through reports and presentations and escalate relevant problems with recommended action plans.
• Identify opportunities to combine similar requests and improve the efficiency of report generation.

Required Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of Information Technology concepts and core application systems.
• Experience in the financial services industry.
• Expert proficiency in SQL and strong proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and visualization tools.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and working in an Agile environment.
• Experience with cross-departmental impact analysis, business case development, SSIS, and SSRS.
• Extensive knowledge of test case analysis and definition.
• University degree, college diploma, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least three years of experience in a data role is preferred.
• IIBA, PMI, or similar professional certification is preferred.

Compensation

• The salary range for the position is $80,000 to $87,000.
