Responsibilities
- Partner with multi functional teams to document and design data products to meet enterprise decision making needs.
- Create and manage data products (datasets, semantic models, dashboards) in accordance with specifications and CMU's data guidelines.
- Support the usage of enterprise data technologies (Snowflake, Power BI, DBT).
- Facilitate requirements capturing within various domains to develop comprehensive business and requirements documents.
- Lead all aspects of the creation of functional and technical specifications and assess impact of changes.
- Develop a deep understanding of data sources and structures; assist in integrating them into Snowflake, Power BI, AI agents and with internal/external systems.
- Participate in and define test scenarios, plans, strategies, and creation of test scripts for data products.
- Lead the process for identifying and gathering appropriate business requirements to build robust data product solutions.

- Bachelor's Degree
- 5 8 years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in SQL query language
- Experience in DAX query language
- Experience in Data Modeling
- Business process analysis skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks
- Understanding of structured and unstructured data

- Understanding of structured and unstructured data.
- Proficiency in SQL query language.
- Experience in DAX query language.
- Experience in Data Modeling.
- Understanding of various systems (Workday, Oracle Financials, other higher education systems).
- Experience with DBT is a plus.
- Experience with data pipeline optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 5 8 years of relevant work experience required.
- A combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
- Successful background check.
