Job Description

  • We are seeking a motivated Graduate Research Assistant to join a research project focused on indoor navigation for individuals with visual impairments.
  • The successful candidate will contribute to the development of privacy preserving indoor localization methods using multi modal deep learning, the design of wearable multi sensor navigation devices, and the creation of datasets for indoor trajectory prediction.
  • Responsibilities include data collection, analysis, and reporting, as well as collaboration with researchers and project partners.

Qualifications

  • Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with strong programming skills in Python and/or C/C++.
  • Familiarity with PyTorch, Linux, and sensor based data collection is required.
  • Experience in robotics, indoor localization, assistive technologies, embedded systems, hardware prototyping, or research writing is desirable.
