Business Intelligence and Data Analytics
Design, build, and maintain BI dashboards and analytical solutions that support operational, strategic, and ad hoc analytical needs.
Own metrics and KPIs end-to-end, including definition, calculation logic, validation, and ongoing consistency.
Translate business questions into analytical approaches, dashboards, reports, and supporting data structures.
Ensure analytics are accurate, well-documented, and aligned with agreed-upon metric definitions.
Provide ongoing analytical support to stakeholders, including investigations, deep dives, and clarification of results.
Data Discovery, Centralization and Documentation
Lead data discovery efforts to determine whether required data exists, how it is defined, and where it resides.
Identify equivalent or related data elements across systems and document authoritative sources.
Support data centralization and consolidation by identifying overlaps, gaps, and inconsistencies across datasets.
Create and maintain documentation that supports repeatable analytics, metric consistency, and long-term scalability.
Data Quality and Accuracy
Validate data used in dashboards and analyses to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Identify data limitations, definition gaps, or quality issues and clearly communicate their impact.
Promote consistent interpretation and responsible use of metrics across teams.
Cross-Functional Partnership
Create BI dashboards and analytical outputs in close partnership with business, product, and technical teams.
Serve as a day-to-day analytics partner supporting decision-making through data and insights.
Communicate analytical findings, assumptions, and limitations clearly to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
Operate effectively in environments with evolving documentation and distributed data ownership.
Required:
Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related discipline.
Advanced SQL skills with experience querying complex, multi-schema, multi-source data environments.
Strong experience delivering BI dashboards, recurring analytics, and ad hoc analysis for business stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience operating in decentralized or federated data environments.
Experience contributing to data inventories, cataloging efforts, or metric standardization initiatives.
Hands-on experience with modern BI and visualization tools (for example, Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or equivalent).
Preferred:
Experience with data modeling, analytics engineering, or data science practices.
Exposure to statistical analysis or advanced analytical techniques.
Familiarity with formal data governance or data quality frameworks.
